About Training at Watkins IT
Every month Watkins IT offers you training at our state-of-the-art training facility. The training facilities at Watkins IT can accommodate from 20 to 40 students. The classroom is wired with full Internet access at every station. You can bring your own laptop or a workstation can be provided for your use. Located in the center of Bethesda, just blocks from the Red Line Metro, our training facility is an ideal place for your next class.
The same high quality training we offer at our facilities can also be delivered off-site. If your employees cannot attend a class at our site, Watkins IT will send an instructor to your organization to deliver a class that can fit their schedules.

Custom Classes
Watkins IT offers a wide variety of prepackaged classes, but if they do not meet a client’s specific needs, we can create a customized class. Existing classes can be compressed or expanded to meet a client’s time and content requirements or Watkins IT can create a completely new class that meets our client’s specifications. The course instructor will work with the client to create the course outline as well as custom courseware.

Lunch and Learn Classes
To address employees’ time constraints, Watkins IT has produced a number of short one-hour lectures on essential computing skills. These courses cover the key skills that employees will need to use modern office applications effectively.
The courses are designed to be short, but informative, to minimize time demands on students, and lectures are often delivered during the lunch break. Each of the Lunch and Learn classes covers a key topic that will help employees use a particular program more effectively. These classes can dramatically improve the efficiency of workers while demanding a minimal investment of time. Because these classes are short and narrative, students do not need to bring a laptop.
